"Possible strong storms": Aemet warns of heavy rain in these parts of Spain

Strong storms are likely to affect areas of the Mediterranean coast early this morning, according to a warning issued by Aemet on social media.
The agency indicates that the rains will be heaviest in the early hours of Wednesday, especially in coastal areas between Catalonia and the Valencian Community.

During the afternoon, instability will move towards inland areas of the peninsula , with the possibility of further showers and storms.
Furthermore, Aemet warns that unstable weather will continue in the following days , with repeated stormy episodes.
Saturday will be crucial : the arrival of a DANA could bring very heavy rains to the north and east of the country, with the risk of significant accumulations.

The first drops of rain will reach the coast of Castellón, Valencia, and southern Catalonia before dawn, a Mediterranean coast in jeopardy , with accumulated rainfall that could exceed 30 l/m² in a few minutes and occasional orange level warnings in southern Castellón.
